Hip arthroscopy has made tremendous progress over the past 10 years and is the standard for treating hip impingement today. Whether it is cam or pincer impingement, a ruptured or detached labrum – all of this damage can be largely corrected, or totally repaired, with this technique. If the articular cartilage however has been worn away, there still is no miracle drug or treatment to replace it.
